Skin Types and Skin Tones:

I’ve searched for years to find a lightweight, odorless sunscreen to wear under my makeup that won’t cause breakouts. I have tried most of the drug-store brands and several of the very expensive brands my dermatologist’s office sells. I’ve not been pleased with any of them for various reasons… so who knew the perfect sunscreen for me would have a ridiculous name and be available on Amazon? Not this girl!
Yes, it’s pricey… but it’s worth every penny. It takes very little product to cover my face and neck so the small tube lasts a while. It absorbs into my skin immediately with no greasy or sticky residue… and I can apply my makeup immediately. Best of all it has no odor (I can’t stand the “sunscreen smell”) and it has not caused a single breakout. The small tube is perfect for travel and is easy to toss in a purse or bag for an active day out. I can’t recommend this product enough… it’s a game-changer.

Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen Weightless

This is my absolute favorite sunscreen. It’s a little pricey but every time I try and use a cheaper brand it’s either too heavy, feels oily on my face, and stings my eyes. This is the only face sunscreen I’ve been able to wear all day long, everyday without it eventually burning my eyes if I sweat even a little. I live in Arizona and I’m very pale and it’s consistently worked great for me. As a darker skinned black woman, I love this product. I just ordered another tube. After trying this sunscreen my skin is thanking me; not only for protecting it but also because there’s no white film left on my skin after applying this. It’s clear and goes on smoothly. I appreciate not looking like I have a ghostly face while wearing this. I also love that it’s lightweight. A must have for anyone with melanin.
